What are the Camp’s expectations of my child? |
· To have fun, participate and have a positive attitude.
· All children are expected to put forth their best effort in each activity. As we like to say, we require your child to use their “fun-noodle” or mind. Some activities will be challenging and will require repeated practice to master, but bear in mind—this is how we learn.

Are there any extra fees in addition to tuition? |
Additional fees are minimal. Parents are expected to cover the cost of their child’s camp shirt, sunscreen, water bottle and tote bag (approximately $20-25). These fees are not covered by DSHS. |
What are the attendance policies for Camp Alliwannado? |
· Please note the dates and times of upcoming outings. Your child will need to be in attendance at least ten minutes prior to posted off-site outings or by 10am each day, whichever is earlier.
· Many of our outings require the advance purchase of tickets, reservations or have limited room available. If your child is not going to be in attendance, please notify us as far in advance as possible.
· Likewise, Be Warned: if you inform the center that your child will not be in attendance you will not be allowed to drop off if you change your mind without prior Manager approval.

What is the Camp Alliwannado’s discipline policy? |
Our preference is to reward for good behavior rather than discipline for poor behavior. Incentives are put in place daily, weekly and throughout the summer to encourage children to put their best foot forward.
A special GOLDEN TICKET drawing will be held at the end of the summer for a Grand Prize.
While we prefer to reward rather than discipline, we do acknowledge that conduct issues may arise. When they do we will use the Red Light behavioral tracking system:
Refusal to participate, fits or unkind actions to staff members or fellow classmates will not be tolerated. |
